My single door spring broke, so I upgraded everything on my 40-year-old 7'x10' five-panel wood door. I purchased an 8' kit, including 1-4 roller hinges, cable brackets, cables, bearings, springs, and rollers. The kit's heavy-duty hinges are wider, allowing for more fastening options. I inverted #1 hinges for better alignment but didn't use the included screws, as they weren't suitable for wood. I didn't use the top adjustable roller bracket since my existing one was superior. I recommend this kit for its quality design.

If you want to change your hardware on your old garage door this is the kit that you need to buy, especially if you have an 8? high door. It has all the appropriate hinges which are numbered the same as my 40 year old door. Quality is identical and the rollers glide smoothly and silently.
