Installed this on a 36X80 metal security door. I don't know how much that door weighs vs the range specified on this closer, but it's working perfectly. Everything is machined well with no burrs or flaws, the install was flawless, and the action is smooth. So far, it is performing exactly as advertised and expected, and even looks good on the door. This is a great buy.

I've never installed a door closer before. It seemed as if it should be easy but the lack of instructions made it much more difficult than it should have been. It took a lot of research and searching on the internet to find some direction. There were no instructions on the product website and the only information provided with the product was a template which wasn't clear to my how to use. Eventually, I figured it out and the installation went smoothly.If you know how to install these type of products then this is a great example. It is very sturdy and well constructed. If you are an amateur, like me, it might be best to look further for a product with better do it your self instructions.

Has the hardware and brackets for all mounting options. Sturdy construction. Works great so far. Nice adjustability (3 valves: Close Speed/Latch/Back Check). We are using on an interior door for janitor closet.

The closer and hardware are in a nice silver finish with a sleek cover that would look good in any interior.Overall I am very pleased with this closer and find it a good buy as opposed to the heavier commercial closers at more than twice the price.
