This makes laying out items to machine or cut much easier than just trying to put a scratch mark on the item you are working with, very easy to apply, Much easier to see marks.

Its the same layout fluid Ive been using since the mid 1960s, nice to have something that I can count on never changing.

I have two pieces of metal that are supposed to mate together. One piece had a high spot that wasn't visible to the naked eye. I "painted" it with Dykem and slid it into the other piece. The Dykem rubbed off the high spot and showed me where to make an adjustment.
