I'm very happy with the low-profile nature of this hanging cleat. I used it to hang a 2ft wide floating nightstand that I built for my S.O., and one cleat was enough for that so it left me with an extra cleat that I will probably use for a large piece of artwork later. Because the cleat is so flat, it didn't leave a big gap between the nightstand and the wall, unlike another one I had bought from a big box store. I like that it came with good quality screws and anchors that worked well for my plaster and lath walls; the package also included a tiny level which I didn't use as I have a better quality one that was easier to manage. The instructions were clear and everything was packaged well upon opening. I'd definitely buy these again if ever needed.

I am building some kitchen shelves where two of the component panels need to be dropped in between permanently wall-mounted larger panels. I honestly can't think of another easy or flexible way to get them in place without metal French cleats. My builder thinks these will work well. The description says "picture hanger" but the weight rating for the 4-inch pairs I ordered is 50 pounds, which should be fine for these drop-in wooden panels that are around 2x2' and 18x30".
