I finally got around to install this pocket door kit.
The instructions were straightforward - just make sure you read it a couple of times and double check your measurements before cutting.
Kit comes with all needed hardware.
My only complaint is the studs are metal but do have some flex when installed. If they were a little thicker and if a cross bar was included, it would be much better. As I did have to place a toe board between the studs to give me something to screw the drywall and baseboard to.
All in all, my first pocket door installation and it went well.

Easy install. Was missing some small parts. Emailed the company and they were shipped out the same day. Love the soft close on both ends. I was a little nervous about attaching drywall to the metal supports, but 1� fine thread drywall screws worked perfectly.

I've never done any of this type of work before, but I wanted to split out my bonus room and create an office space. This pocket door frame kit was fairly easy to install once I framed out the space. The instruction would sometimes get a little confusing, but once I figured it out, it all made sense and the results are better than I expected.

My only real criticism is that the soft close takes some tweaking to get right, but otherwise everything is grerat.
